This is a collaboration that started few seasons ago with an accomplished now local artist/writer and published illustrator - Sarah Sax. This is one of our way to celebrate this vibrant relatively small city.

This edition is a presentation covers winter in Portland 2023 edition. As am sure, we can all relate the ever evolving landscape of a city. Portland is no different - new housing developments, restaurants, galleries, on and on.

Sarah Sax is an illustrator and comic artist based in Portland, ME. She studied illustration, animation and storytelling at Hampshire College. Sarah has a background in arts education and she is a former Creative Director at Lumosity. In her spare time she volunteers with 826 Valencia in San Francisco for whom she has contributed illustrations to multiple publications.
